Our Vision

Restoring balance to the steppe

As Mongolian founders with deep family roots in herding communities, we see firsthand the environmental challenges threatening our land — from large-scale mining to the overuse of fragile pasturelands. While goat herding is often blamed for desertification, we believe it can also be part of the solution.

Cashmere, when produced responsibly, is one of the most sustainable textile fibers in the world. Compared to cotton, which consumes up to 2,700 liters of water for one t-shirt, undyed organic cashmere uses as little as 31 liters. This makes cashmere not just a luxury material — but a meaningful alternative to water-intensive or synthetic fibers.

Through our non-profit initiative Origin Mongolia, we dedicate a portion of our profits to reforestation efforts in the Gobi desert and other degraded areas. Our goal: regenerate lost biodiversity and build a sustainable cashmere future. One day, every purchase you make will be traceable to a specific tree planted in Mongolia — a living connection to the land and the people behind your product.
